About the video
“Mission for the European Parliament” is one of a series of six educational videos produced for the European Parliament office in Copenhagen. This pedagogical tool is meant to be used in Danish secondary schools, to familiarise teenagers with themes such as the functioning of a plenary session, the three working places of the European Parliament, the work of MEPs, the relationship with the European Commission, the influence of the Parliament in the world as well as the role of journalists and lobbyists.

Follow the adventures of two young reporters, Amanda and Hans, through the corridors of the European Parliament… These two teenagers produce, as part of their studies, a series of stories to help discover the ABC of the European Parliament. This time, Hans and Amanda are interested in the role of journalists and lobbyists in the European Parliament. By pacing the rooms and corridors frequented by journalists (press conferences, press room, TV set), they meet a Danish reporter and two lobbyists who explain what they work consist of and how these two professions coexist and interact with MEPs.
