This video is one of a series of four made as part of the launch of the EU’s strategy for the Baltic Sea Region. The films present projects taking place in Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, co financed by the European Commission.

Västeras, Sweden, home of a centre of excellence for robotics research – Robotdalen. This initiative supports companies and product developers financially and helps them find investors and partners. With the help of the European Regional Development Funds, Robotdalen hopes to develop innovation, research and technological development, making the region more competitive and attracting overseas investment.
