Tipik put together an image show for the European Parliament which called for the release of Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi, who has been detained for a total of 13 years out of the past 19. It involved the two-day projection of her image onto the old façade of the Luxembourg station at Place du Luxembourg, close to the European Parliament in Brussels. Tipik launched the projection on 18 June and the images made the headlines worldwide on the morning of 19 June, Suu Kyi’s 64th birthday.

Media all over the world, from the BBC to the Bangkok Post, used the picture in their news coverage to bring to the fore once again the issue of her release.
