Tipik’s audiovisual department is widening the scope of services it offers. A good example of an all-in-one event video package is live coverage of an event with dynamic elements added throughout the event – and all this combined with pre-prepared animations. This is precisely what Tipik did for the European Commission’s Regional Policy ceremony - RegioStars 2009 Awards – which recognises good examples of innovative regional projects around Europe.
Tipik’s video production for the event included:
- live coverage of the award ceremony for the big screen. It was real-time dynamic video content following the speakers’ actions.
- motion graphics used for announcing the winners. The animation was a map of Europe – reflecting the regional policy’s logo map - focusing each time on the winning region when this was announced.
- a video wall that followed the visual identity of the event and was used for decorative effect on the big screen before and after the event started.
Tipik’s TV director managed all these effects at the venue, following the gala live and inserting lower thirds prepared in advance (the names of speakers, winners etc.) to the live picture. The project was a good example of how pre-prepared motion graphics can be combined with real-time animations.
