About the video

Tipik explored the possibilities offered by the combination of traditional drawing techniques and modern technologies to produce a short and sobering animation. The resulting video reached its initial objective – i.e. raising a debate among citizens – by provoking a number of reactions and not less than 21,578 views on YouTube.

About the project

Member States are currently trying to fix the crisis in the eurozone. But what, deep down, caused the crisis? What key lessons should we learn? Well, part of the problem was that Member States did not stick to the rules for debts and deficits. The EP thinks the time has come for them to do so. Here, in under 60 seconds, is why.
